I literally can't wear heels - just walkimg across the driveway to open the gate is a problem! LOL! sassafras19 Just one more thing. You want to keep your closet Posh compliant. There is a list of items not allowed in my closet. The contract between Posh and USPS does not allow flammables like perfume, nail polish. Our packages fly cargo. Other no's are lotions, aerosols, hair products, wellness and health items, etc and those are for safety and sanitation. I'm sure you don't want someone else's half used acne treatment. Ugh. If you see these in closets, walk away and go on to the next one.

And it's interesting you say that because when my bf picked him out for me as a surprise - Buddy was looking at him like intently and his friend who was with him was like "that one is staring at you, that's the one you have to take" ... which is kind of makes a bit of sense when you point that out. My kitty was a stray that a friend had for the 1st year in his tractor-trailer truck and he treated her somewhat like a dog...so yeah, she's a mix between a needy human and dog. I told him a would cat sit so she could get out of the truck for a "while" and that was 6 years ago! 😂😂

With all the hacking & ID theft they talk about happening today, I was afraid to even email the first one at all! Why would they want you to anyways when I said they could make an offer (if they're worried about shipping they could offer me $7 less than the item and I probably wouldve taken less).

My bf and I were sick to death of how crowded and for lack of a better word - snooty Walnut Creek had become so we sold the condo and bought a house in the mountains so now I'm 2 hours away! 😢 But I still make about 5-6 games a month but that's like 30 and I used to do 60ish.

baseball_jen @gpatriz If you do go to a lot of games or when you do ... where do u sit? RF or LF Bleachers are where most of my friends are. I'm in 128 directly behind the A's bullpen. We have a pretty gllod group there but it's changed A LOT in the last couple yrs which sucks bc ppl gave up 2 early. The team we have now - just add a little more pitching and I know they'll be great soon. They're just getting their feet wet now. And a privately funded new stadium?! That will be great 4 the team.

I learned by stumbling upon @katewaz's listing to join her tag list. So everytime there's party or a follow game she'll tag you and you have the option to keep passing the info along by tagging your PFF's and sharing the listing or both!

When I get a party invite I copy and paste the list! It helps you get Host Picks and reminds you to share at the parties!

kooldny I miss our core 4 but the future looks very bright. The Houston Astros aren’t going anywhere and if I started a team today it’d be hard to pass up Altuve as my first pick. Its funny that you mention guys like Bob and Hendu - I was actually friends with both of them, may they RIP. Hendu used to let me wear his 89 WS ring around and Bob, well, he was more special of a guy than just being the last player to win 25+ gms in a season (27 in '90).

He is getting a statue this season and they named the field after him last season. He just IS everything that Oakland represents, growing up here, spending the majority of his career here. baseball_jen @kooldny Agreed about the Astros for sure. My favorite play in the postseason was when Bregman threw out Bird (sorry!) at home. That kid has a GG in his future - that is IF he can beat our Matt Chapman. Chapman is Eric Chavez (who won 6 consecutive GGs) but BETTER and he has more power potential!! He still swings & miss a lot but he will learn & the majority of power hitters do anyways.

wmu_mba Just before our libraries shut down due to the pandemic, I checked out the book Finley Ball, which is by the niece of Charlie O. Finley. I grew up in Michigan, so I'm a Tigers fan, but during the late 80s-early 90s, I also followed the Athletics. I studied Spanish in high school, so Canseco was my favorite non Tiger. I stopped following him after all the steroid stuff came out, but for a while, I had quite a Jose Canseco card collection.

wmu_mba Early in Jose's career, I sent a letter (in Spanish) asking him to autograph a card. This was in the off-season, so I sent it to his home in Miami. This was in the days before regular people had internet access, so I found his address by going to the library and looking it up in the Miami phone book. I actually got the card back signed. But, knowing that Jose was a Junior I've always wondered if he actually signed it or if maybe he had his father do it 😀

baseball_jen @wmu_mba That's awesome! Jose is actually a really nice man. I met him back in 2014 at a private party for the 25th anniversary of their WS sweep over the evil giants! (Lol - no love lost there! haha!) He said he was nervous to come (due to him having basically outed everyone for steroids but he came anyway and was really relieved at how great the fans and his former teammates were! He loved my socks (which are crazy - people used to call my the Oakland A's Socks Girl! LOL)

Ozzie and I are FB friends - I work in baseball - and I think he should write a book about growing up and playing ball as Jose's twin! I know he's got some crazy stories! Their bday is the day after mine on July 2nd which always made me happy. 😊

baseball_jen @wmu_mba As a Tigers fan ... man you guys have murdered us in the postseason so many times. Really it was more of a Verlander curse (it was really fun when he was traded into the AL West! We FINALLY handed him an actual loss in 2019 for the first time since 2011! Unbelievable! In 18 he was going for his 200th win in Oakland and he gave up like 3 HRs in the 1st 2 innings AND STILL GOT THE WIN!! I couldn't even! LOL!

But JV was a rookie when you guys swept us in the ALCS in 2006 and then the 2 game ALDS Game 5 shutouts in '12 & '13? Just Crazy! I just hope that this isn't the A's century to be under some kind of curse! LOL! And I hate that the pandemic has stopped the game, altho I think that any sport is crazy is they think they are gonna play this year ... I think next yr might be an "if" even which is so sad!

wmu_mba @baseball_jen I sell baseball cards on another site, and in each of the last 3 orders I've received, the customer has ordered at least one Jose Canseco card. One of the orders was for about 30 cards, and I think about 20 of the 30 were Cansecos. I collected a bunch of Canseco memorabilia during the late 1980s. I thought it was going to make me rich someday, but it didn't quite work out that way. Still, it was fun.

You could say the A's now havd one of the greatest defensive duos ever(altho Chapman just went on the IL for hip surgery!😥) in Matt Chapman and Matt Olson!! But Ive met both Big Mac & Canseco and they are both really awesome guys! Even if Jose is a bit out there from time to time ...he's a really funny, amiable dude (his twin Ozzie is FAR more normal! LOL!) It's Rickey though who I really love!

He was walking by with a friend of mine who works for the team - it was during a game that my mom & I - as we often do, were watching out in Championship Plaza. There were not a lot of ppl around as you have to go inside at the 7th. She's stopped to say hi to us & while I'd met Rickey before this was like way cooler! We took a selfie! It was 🤯! alan93 @baseball_jen hi jen. the 80s A's are my fave with McG and Jose -- even more than the darryl strawberry Mets. in college ~97 I worked on the field for the Pirates. before the game I had to follow the players and keep the autograph seekers in check. during the game I sat next to the 1st or 3rd base foul ball kid. I'd float through the dugouts periodically. amazing times! McGuire and the Cards came and he built like a monster. huge. nice guy. here is something neat......

alan93 I saw every amazing player -- after batting practice they'd sheepishly approach the pirate dugout with a shirt or a ball and kindly ask another player to trade them ball for ball. or shirt for shirt. mcguire. sosa. Biggio. eckersley. ALL of them did it.... Guess who they wanted to trade with....Willie Stargell. he was their hero growing up. willie would sit on the bench all quiet and trade. I didnt appreciate how awesome this all was until now.

I normally am in more consistent contact when issues arise but the last few days have been far from normal. I was delayed in my getting your package to USPS & that's on me but it was maybe a day or two. I didn't realize it was not tracking. It should be today. I'd like to give you more context - can we talk in bundle? I'm very sorry.
