teachposhrepeat @tammywyatt - The model is wearing the size M and is 5'4". It is long on her, clearly touching the ground. Let me re-measure the L and get back to you. Maybe it would work depending where you wear the waist band (higher or lower).

teachposhrepeat @tammywyatt - Just measured and whoa! I was off the first time. Length is closer to 54 inches top to bottom. Fabric definitely stretchy and waistline adjustable. I held it up against myself in the mirror to double check (I'm 5'6"), and it hit the floor so I think it might actually work for you! ☺️ And will do - I have one more maxi I'll tag you in, but I think you'd definitely need a jacket over it for church (it's a little more revealing).
