lisamarie80 Can't stop looking at this bag - In LOVE :-) Can you see the date code? Most likely on the microfiber divider maybe? I'm guessing it's from 2005-2006?

loveglamfab @lisamarie80 yes, over $500 it goes to Posh for authentication. When I get home, I can try to find the code for you. I am not sure of the date but think you are in the correct time frame. There is a mark there, but it is subtle. This bag was a closet princess and hardly used at all! Be in touch again soon and thanks for your patience.

The pops of color on the black is so fun too! Even though I did not use the bag very much, I enjoyed viewing in my closet. The photos do not do the bag justice. It is a very striking bag! She's such a princess I wonder if I will only want to stare at her too and not carry her Haha It is a striking bag, the hardware is really beautiful... lisamarie80 @loveglamfab Awww, my furry friend "was" my first ferret ever - he was my love :-) That's a very old pic from like 2006 and he has since gone to the rainbow bridge... sad. I love ferrets!!

loveglamfab @lisamarie80 Yes, I purchased the bag new. The SA's at LV mention that if you add a strap, the bag was not originally designed for that kind of wear, which means you could place additional strain in other areas since parts of the bag are being pulled where not expected I know this from when I inquired about adding a strap to a Speedy that was not their official bandouliere version. It does make sense.

lisamarie80 @loveglamfab It makes total sense about the strap, and that's honestly the only thing that makes me hesitate. I was thinking if the bandouliere strap was clipped onto the hardware on each side, but then it might hang wrong and put strain on the bag. But I LOVE her so much :-) Seriously thinking!!!

loveglamfab Think you could get away with the strap; however, only on occasion, not for long periods of time ...and if you do not overfill the bag.-have also seen a chain-not sure if LV sells, but it gives the bag more of a jewelry look! I always carried the bag on my arm. Also, never attached any strap to avoid scratching the hardware. Thank you for considering this bag! 😊

thelook4_less I too have to think about it. The Chanel is vary rare to locate and in new condition even less. I don’t have the card, the purse has the serial number sticker. I was young and I was young and unaware that I would need it.

Again, you were generous to offer a Chanel trade, which was respectful as a fellow posher. Even though my bag was a limited edition, I don’t think this would be a fair trade for you.
