Vintage Waltah Clarke's dress from the 1960s/70s. Perfect for a Tiki bar or backyard luau party.
Made from super soft barkcloth in an abstract ethnic print. It reminds me of the geometric watercolor patterns you would see in a kaleidoscope. Bright, bold shades of turquoise blue, purple, indigo, & green. Excellent vintage condition.

@lorie828 You're welcome :) I'm sorry this didn't work out for you - that vintage sizing can definitely be tricky!

May I please know the fabric content? Cotton mix?

@eskimobacio Hi! Oops - I just noticed it is difficult to read the content on the tag photo. I just checked it and it's also difficult to read in-person but I can for sure tell that it says "100% AC..." and then I'm 90% sure it says Acrylic. The material has the feel of a soft cotton flannel and the texture appearance of barkcloth. I hope that helps - let me know if you have any other questions 😊

Hi, those measurements don’t make sense. They’re in inches?

eviternity_vtg
@ruthw560 Yes, they are in inches. I always take my measurements straight across the garment when it is laying flat - so double the bust, waist, and hip measurements that are provided and you will get the total measurement around each of those areas.

Oh, ok. I was confused. I love this dress but I know vintage styles run small. I’m a size 10 and the measurements seem like they would work, but that mannequin looks much smaller than me.

@ruthw560 The dress is cinched in by the waist tie, so I would definitely go my the measurements to determine best fit :) You could compare the measurements to a dress you have that fits well.
