rachelshelto847 @akkelly_41 yeah it just seems like no matter how many times I say it to people they keep doing it. If somebody makes me a lowball offer now, I just decline it; I won’t even counteroffer.

rachelshelto847 @sallie_4242 aww thank you! Yeah I’m not trying to be but the is is the way a lot of people make a living. Personally it’s because I have so many chronic health issues, I am unable to have a 9-5 job, so I just really want people to be considerate of other sellers and the offers they make! It drives me crazy because it happens so much but I’ve gotten to the point where if they are being unreasonable, I will automatically decline their offer!

eugeniastefania I agree whole hardly! Very insulting & demeaning. I had an item listed for $18 & was offered $3 declined & they came back with $4. I too state the same as you - & to no avail they tune me out! I commend you - thank you!

rachelshelto847 @eugeniastefania yes! I have had that happen so much. I just hit decline automatically. You gotta just stand your ground! Somebody will come along who just buys it or makes a fair offer; that’s what I’ve learned! You’re not alone 😂!

marleygold If this is the way you make your living, maybe you could answer a question for me & know something I don’t about pricing. I made one of my items $10, as a lot of other Poshers have $15, $10 & $5 items, but when I went to sell it and offered a discount, it wouldn’t let me make the offer- I would be losing money. What I DON’T understand is how other sellers can sell items $10 or less and make money. Is the only option to encourage bundling? Thank you for reading this. Am really curious.

rollinonabudget I hope you don’t take it as offensive. I’m sure there are annoying people who try to make a 5 dollar offer but I’m just a newbie and I thought Poshmark was just like a consignment shop. So I kind of expected everything to be low. But I totally agree with you!

This is a business for a lot of us and we can just sell things at a cheap price especially because Poshmark takes a huge cut. If you don't like the price a seller sells something at then obviously you are more than welcome to shop around . Again I'm not trying to attack you but just state that

binksbestbuys4u First, I am in love with your closet!!! I’m trying to keep myself from putting a gazillion things in a bundle! Second, may I please use this pic on my page? I also use Poshmark as my only source of income and find lowballs so insulting. People wouldn’t walk into a store in the mall and offer half (especially when things are already at 20% off retail). It's so tempting to make an offer on one of their high priced listings and make an offer of half of what they are selling it for and see how they like it! Ugh lol. Thanks for the compliment! Too bad you aren't selling on Poshmark :( I totally get it though

It's definitely frustrating and rude but it's YOUR closet ans trust me eventually a buyer will come along that will buy an item at the price listed or make you a fair offer!
