So sweet!! Pets are the most uncomplicated joy in my life. โค๏ธ I have 3 cats and 3 dogs. Recently departed and dearly missed are my my 15-year-old Brittany dog and my 18-year-old dilute tortie cat. Your brood looks like fun! ๐

OMG Love Colt !! I have a big gray and white pittie too. He will be 10 in Jan. He is my whole world and rules our home. My precious husband passed away a year ago this weekend and I would have made it through this crazy year without him. His AKC name is King Petey Blue Stegall but he is just Blue to me but also answers to all his silly nicknames.... Bubba, Boopy and Baby Boy. You can see him in my closet too. Glad I found someone else as crazy about their fur baby as I am. Iโm Alicia

We got him for our daughter just six months before she unfortunately passed away in 2016 - she was only 12 ๐ Heโs beyond bossy and spoiled and I only tolerate it because he was good to my Angel.

Bless you and your fur babies. I had a German Shepherd but lost him to Degenerative Myelopathy. It's prevalent in German Shepherd dogs. I still cry over him. I have a black cat that's 15 but thinks that she's a kitten. You obviously love animals. It's nice to see someone that takes care of them.

@theretroradish Me too! I still can't bring myself to get another dog. My Axle has been gone for two years now. It breaks my heart to know that so many fur babies need homes. If I had money, I'd have several German Shepherds. It's my favorite breed.

@twelch0223 Awww ๐ฅฒ My beloved Chubby passed 3 years ago. She was an Ori-Pei ( half Pug half Sharpei ) and she was the sweetest thing ever. She was like a little pot belly pig but she was definitely in charge and bossed all the bigger dogs around. Thatโs the problem with dogs, they just donโt live long enough ๐

@the1flyingpig I can so empathize. Everytime you lose one a piece of your heart is gone. Its truly devastating. I do a lot of charity work for animals and I leave bawling everytime. I keep dog food & water in my car so if I see one that has been abandoned I can hopefully get them to come to me if I have something they want and need. I'm single and my #1 deal-breaker is someone who doesn't love animals. I have always had animals in my life and always will.

@phoebescloset11 We lost our daughter due to a terminal illness on 2/21/2016 and the only thing that comforted her was animals. Stanley the fat cat, T-Bone the shredder pit bull, Frosty the โgayโ cat, Chubby, the pot belly pig, Ori - Pei, Rex, the Cairn Terrier, Cleo, the Chow - Shepherd mix that was used as a fighting dog and had a vagiinal prolapse

@the1flyingpig my closet is named after my dog, Phoebe, who has since passed. My name is Jeri. Its ok that ppl call me Phoebe on here. I've been called worse lol. My believe is the reason they don't live as long as we do is bc they have nothing 2 learn. They never get off track.

@the1flyingpig they don't care what you have or what you don't. They would happily live under a bridge as long as they are with you. We get off track all the time and usually learn the hard way whats really important and what truly matters. We think we teach them when its actually the complete opposite. I'm sorry for your loss. ๐๐ป๐ซถ

@the1flyingpig I'm more gosh. I just read about your daughter. I don't even know what to say. I'm so sorry. You are right about animals. I am my dads caretaker. He is at a rehabilitation Center bc he fell and broke his hip. They bring in dogs every week to lift the patients spirits. He has had such a hard life but when he seeโs the dog that comes its like he's a kid again. Again, my deepest condolences to you and your family. I don't have children but I can only imagine that kind of pain.

@phoebescloset11 Thank you for your kind words. Iโm sorry about your father. My father-in-law was on hospice in our home and passed 12/23/2015, and then our angel Emma 2/21/2016. Then we took my mother-in-law, who had front lobel dementia and I cared for her as best as I could. She passed in June.
