Hi! I'm Tania & this is my BFF Colt he was my daughter’s dog. Unfortunately she passed away from a terminal illness on 2/21/2016 - my sweet daughter was only 12 years old. Now I’m stuck with this overgrown baby of a dog, 😁 I find comfort & joy in the Poshmark community. I’v met some amazing people along the way and am grateful for the friendships I’ve forged

My Daddy has a ranch and tons of friends with farms, hogs etc. RARELY, my Dads Friend Humanely kills a hog and we eat all of it. I use to be a vegetarian 🌱 I basically eat Whole Foods but once or twice a month we have Free Range Pork/Chicken. I cook free range chicken & rice for my rescue 😂

I don’t eat processed food...Yuck 🤮🤢Now my daughter on the other hand is a strict vegan and I do mean strict. So Halloween my daughter suffered a pulmonary embolism & she had just been to Urgent Care the week before for a pain & swelling in her leg& that she thought she had a blood clot. the1flyingpig @ashleys_locker3 I’m so sorry. I totally understand the pain you’re going through because I lost my 12 year old daughter 4 years ago. Losing a child is the most horrific pain one can imagine. My little girl was so sick and suffered for so many years, but she always had a smile on her face despite the fact that she couldn’t walk or talk. I hate when people say I know what you’re going through because unless you lose a child they will never understand. I’m sorry for your loss😞

the1flyingpig @ashleys_locker3 I hear you, I was Emma's primary care giver since she required care 24/7 so I had to quit my job. When she passed I never went back to work - I couldn't and still can't. I have a hard time dealing with people and their petty problems considering what I've been through. I started Poshmark about two years ago and have been doing well up until a few months ago. It seems like things just don't sell on here as they used to.

It’s a hybrid cat breed. It’s a mix of an African Serval and a domestic cat. They can cost as much as $15K mine is the economy version 😁

the1flyingpig @lynn2578 She had a very rare form of muscular dystrophy. She was only one of four in the US as of a few years ago. They’ve done a lot of research and we donated everything we could to advance the research in hopes of finding a treatment or cure. She declined rather quickly once she turned 9-10 years old.

the1flyingpig @lynn2578 I quit my great job and became her full-time caregiver/nurse. I’m older - will be 48 next month. Her name was Emma and she would have been 17 years old in April. We do also have a 23 year old daughter. It’s been a rough ride. Most of the animals were for her, they brought her so much joy.

lynn2578 @thechubbytbone I walk your path with my grandson. He has an extremely rare form of cerebral palsy. One in three in US they told my daughter. He has a team of Drs that work with him at the Cleveland Clinic. They make his medicine. It’s like a Parkinson disease med. So expensive too. Two insurances and still pay out of pocket. He’s never walked. So devastating. Poshmark helps me get away from it all. I am so sorry for your loss. Happy to share your beautiful closet all week. 💕

Emma never walked or talked and eventually ended up in a wheelchair and feeding tube. You’re the second person I’ve met on here with a similar story. I guess our paths were meant to cross.

My daughter has her own Poshmark closet and is down to the bare minimums too. I usually go to garage sales and thrift stores to buy stuff to sell on here, but that’s not as profitable as it once was. Some thrift stores are more than department stores. Not sure when they’ll even open☹️

I did mail everything at the same time and the tracking has been all over the place on all orders lately (even on stuff I bought, the tracking & delivery estimates have been way off). I'd give it a couple of days hoping it just shows up but will def contact p/m support if no news. if you want me to, I can contact them right away (but my experience has been things are just way slow lately)..

moonchild1977 @the1flyingpig Dogs are the best. My dog is my kid. I had to have a Hysterectomy at a very young age so I didn't get to have children so I got a dog.

the1flyingpig @novaressler7735 Sorry you had to go through that. Our dogs have always been like our children too so I get it. The only problem is they don’t live long enough. We just had to put down our 13 year old German Shepherd last month which was so sad because she was a sweetheart. Now we’re down from three to just the one dog, Colt.
