The online CHANEL value bag guide it states the drawstring Triple Coco bags are very valuable. The ones from the '80s like this one, go for well over $4,500+ depending on condition. They will only go up in value! I highly recommend that it be sent to Leather Surgeons, or Rago Brothers for a replating and leather repigmentation. If restored it will add thousands to its value! Priced competitively so that the new buyer can choose whether to restore it or not. Beautiful as is! Ready to use!

@sistahs It's not a real fixer upper that's the good news. And these bags are very expensive, especially the certain style.
Each Chanel bag is different. The difference is thousands of dollars depending on the style and year etc.
I would recommend that you probably go for the bag that your partial to. The one with no wear. This bag is priced accordingly for what it is, and to get it repigmented and replated probably around $400 to $450.

The original owner was allegedly a playmate from the Playboy mansion. A prince from the Middle East bought this bag for her in New York. That's the story her son told me! It has an interesting History if true!

@ambarabella86 Hi Amber. I did speak w/ Tony & Hannah @ Rago bros & they looked at the pictures. They felt to restore the bag inside & out based on pictures only would be $285-$350. Re plating the 24k gold they saw many areas that would need replating & they send that out & it could be $750-$1000. Based on these numbers would you be willing to take a reduced offer for some of this work to be done. Leather surgeons was about the same. Thx Deb

@sistahs If they are telling you it's $1,000 repair, then they're not being honest. I've never had to spend that and I've had classic Chanel bags restored completely for $475. That's absolutely inaccurate, and I wouldn't send it if it was that price either.
I don't know why they would quote you $750 to $1,000. It's not destroyed! It needs a replated gold and minor repigmenting if desired. It's not super ripped up and destroyed.
