Its not the fake lining most counterfeits use the pig suede with the pores. That's the lining most counterfeits use if it isn't real my its the best fake I seen! I sure wish I could have gotten that speedy. It was so pretty. I couldn't buy but I could trade at the moment I have a huge inventory! I'm sorry you are having trouble with the buyer.

ambarabella86 @ellanutt sometimes there are super fakes. Very difficult to tell the difference. I bought a speedy 30 on here. Posh has a authentication team and they determined that it was not real. I returned it. Too much money to pay for fake. Ur buyer could have had the bag authenticated by using pictures. If she takes it into a LV store they'll just destroy if they suspect it's not real. That would be a shame. I hope everything improves!

ambarabella86 @ellanutt just because it's missing its date code doesn't mean that it's not authentic. And just because Louis Vuitton items have a date code it doesn't make them authentic. I researched this bag and it looks real to me. Of course I don't see in person. Will you please contact me when you receive it back? Given that it's returned in the same condition as it left? ambarabella86 @ellanutt I know right. I had a New Michael Kors suede from Nordstrom's. Actually I traded it for a inspired bag because I thought it was real until I got it in person. Then the lady had ppl challenging the authenticity. I assured her it was auth. She got a new auth MK bag and I got the inspired LV one. People sometimes don't know what's auth. A little homework a little research most can authenticate items. People just don't take the time to do that.

I'm just curious as to why she thought it was not authentic. From the photos you have listed, it looks to be an authentic LV. Why did she feel its a fake?

ambarabella86 @ellanutt usually if someone claiming it's not authentic they give a little more detail on why. She didn't put it on your post why she thought it was unauthentic. Did she have it checked by a purse specialist? Because I'm interested as long as it has all the Hallmarks of being an authentic. The date code is irrelevant. Because those are missing often or they get worn off. I hope its resolved quickly😍

So at least I was letting my buyers know what they were getting. Somebody keeps turning me in on that listing .. so now I'm stuck with it. It's a cute little fashion bag, but I think its " like " not the real thing. At least I let my customers know. Most sellers do. Some don't. I do not sell replicas or inspired bags

Once in awhile I get stuck with a inspired, and then I tried to see if someone else may enjoy it. My competition kept turning me in. Therefore I've been on notice not to list it. It is an authentic Michael Kors and it's the brown suede which usually popular in the winter you're probably pick up that sell come October or November before Christmas. I think somebody turned in my listing that's why Fashion bag wouldn't stay up. I see inspired bags all the time nobody takes them down. To each their own I guess.😊

We can bundle them, you would have to decline my offers and then add them all to one bundle I think. Or you may only be able to do a bundle of two or three. I'm not sure how that works. The listing stated it didn't close. zipper stuck. Needs repair. That is why I sold it so inexpensive. You can take it to a dry cleaner or leather repair and they can unstuck the zipper. It still makes a wonderful gift as is!

ambarabella86 @devonkri It still makes a great gift! It is rare and sold out color dark Sahara. It's a beautiful color, and whomever receives it will appreciate it. If you wish to fix it before hand, it's a $5 repair. It came from the store this way. It does zip open and shut but hard to so I left it unzipped and stated "zipper stuck" and it's " needing repairs. " on the original listing you bought it on. If a gift, I'm sure they will love it! It's a rare color $200 Tory!

ambarabella86 @devonkri I did recommend it be sent to a leather repair for inexperienced. I can not accept a return. I sold it $30 less than my asking price to you a month ago. I factored in the zipper defect and lining. Poshmark allows 3 days for the buyer to review item and if accepted All Sales are final. There's no opening a return on changed mind a month later. I accurately described it. You can send it as a gift or resell it on here to get your money back. I came down on price for you.

I can send you number to their shops. I'm willing to do that for you. It isn't a expensive repair because it has the original zipper. Tory Burch may even do if for free because you have original tag. That's the best I can do is find you a shop in your area if you'd like?

ambarabella86 @devonkri A dry cleaning place may even do the repair. They have seemstress and people familiar with stuck zippers. Between a Leather Repair shop, seemstress shop, or dry cleaning establishment, one of them can fix a stuck zipper. It's stuck in the fabric. That is why it's hard to close. They can easily repair it. You can even contact TORY BURCH and see if they will allow you to send it to them since it came from the store this way.

If there's been a block then use Tessie as a mediator. Glamour girl will always help out and mediate and try to get a resolution. She knows the ropes, and she's very knowledgeable. ambarabella86 @tracy031770 If you are doing future trades, I would highly recommend that you contact your trade partner immediately if there is a discrepancy on description. It gives you the opportunity to communicate and do a trade back. The trade Poshers in your circle all do trade backs so it's always helpful to communicate when it happens and not let a significant time go by. I'm a seller, and it's hard when my buyers want to return something 30 days later.

They are experts at making sure your item is authentic, and as described. Because of the shutdowns, it may take an extra couple days for them to review your item, but it will be carefully wrapped and shipped to you priority mail. I would consider not canceling, if the Poshmark team approves the item.

ambarabella86 @gayle731 Absolutely! I know how stressful it can be when you're making a big purchase. You work really hard for your money, so the last thing you want is a hiccup or a fake bag! The Poshmark concierge team is very careful with the white glove 5-point inspection. If there are any issues with the bag, they will make sure and reach out to you first with pictures and/or reasons. For now, just hang tight and know that you will get what you paid for!

Sometimes it is an honest mistake, and other times sellers are doing it to be dishonest. That's why when I have items that are in doubt or a customer wants a certificate I pay for a authentication certificate for my items. 💕

ambarabella86 @gayle731 It's sometimes hard because there are really quality replica items out there. The experts and us authenticators call it mirror replicas.It absolutely is mirror the original. I had two weeks my money was tied up on an item years ago. Sellers don't understand that if you don't describe it correctly, it's subject to a return. ambarabella86 @gayle731 There are also wonderful tips on YouTube and online of how to authenticate luxury Items. There are certain markers on authentic bags. Hardware is the best way to autheticate a bag. Serial codes can be mocked. We Authenticate hardware as a standard. Being familiar with the item your purchasing will definitely help! She was a career criminal and was smart enough to pull the Fraud once in a few years. Gordana was stupid in that she thought she could steal my LV speedy 25 and list on another site. I had a crimial case number and reported it stolen. I showed the site and they brought up charges on her. Gordana also had a string of karma after stealing from me.

ambarabella86 @stylenka However, I never did get my bag back, she was documented on the FBI IC3 crime unit, in her own town and mine. So any attempts to keep stealing bags and sending back fakes she will go to jail. It was heartbreaking what she did. People don't have conscience anymore. Beware because there's lots of scams similar on here.

ambarabella86 @stylenka New buyers are not uncommon on here. I would accept the offer! Take pictures of the packaging process. I sell to new buyers all the time. Poshmark will protect your purchase. Just document item well as packaging and take photo in box and label!

amandamarie811 I saw you have experience with fraud. I just got my first sale. I am nervous to ship since the buyer just opened their account prior to the purchase. How do I protect myself as a seller worried they will say i shipped a different item. Do i video tape packaging the item, taking it to UPS? Any advice?

ambarabella86 @amandamarie811 Hello, I've sold to new buyers. depending on the amount of the sale, if it's over $500 it goes to Poshmark concierge. I take pictures of my item before I ship it. All angles, the packaging process, picture of the item in the box, a picture of the weight of the item once it's been packaged and a picture of the label. That has protected me In the past with selling sites and if I have to on USPS fraud cases and IC3 crime unit

ambarabella86 @amandamarie811 Poshmark is supposed to protect the transaction, you can always shoot them in email that you have taken photographs and video of your item so that if the buyer tries to get a refund or steal that you gave them a heads up. Your concern that their brand new buyer has warranted your concern. However, I've had good experiences with new poshers. I wish you all the best!

ambarabella86 @autumncoomes Hello, the theft happened where buyer bought it and opened a return and sent back a China fake speedy. I filed a police report and the platform wouldn’t really help but to give me money back. With the report I was able to show proof that was my bag with a Pd case number and seller was charged with selling my bag as stolen goods. She got her karma.

ambarabella86 @autumncoomes as far as selling on the platform her, as long as the transaction went through Poshmark and you can state your concerns it will go through Poshmark authenticate if it was sold for over $500. That’s a good thing. They evaluate it and will handle it once you ship it. If it was under $500 and you have a gut feeling then I would pass on selling it.

I’ve never sold anything luxury on Posh and when I happened to see your post I was like, “people really do crap that?” That’s scary for sure! You can’t trust anyone these days. I think all of my skepticism started on Sunday when I listed the bag.

ambarabella86 @autumncoomes It’s perfectly normal to feel anxious with selling your prized possession. Especially luxury. They are the most scammed and stolen. However if it goes through the poshmark authenticate process they will make sure you’re covered. Make sure and take pictures, videos and documentation of the whole shipping process so buyer knows you cover yourself and their purchase. I create extra listings for the shipping process without the label. Congratulations on sale!

autumncoomes @ambarabella86 Two different buyers and “fake” Poshmark representatives tried to scam me out of it. The representative even sent me pictures of their ID badges. Long story short….supposedly the buyers couldn’t purchase the bag because my account needed to be activated. I needed to add $500 to my account in order for the transaction to go through.

I told them no thanks, a company isn’t going to ask me for money to sell my products. The whole thing just freaked me out. I haven’t sold on the platform in a few years and things have definitely changed!

autumncoomes So, Monday morning I woke up to a notification on my phone that my LV bag was purchased for the asking price of $1,050. When I looked up the buyer, there wasn’t a picture, a name, no information, or listings. And she just established her account May 1st. I was asking myself “is this even real?” Im going to ship the bag out tomorrow to Poshmark so they can verify the authenticity. I guess at that point it’s in their hands. Fingers crossed!
