nannym7 @lenglan hi Lori! thanks for visiting! The top actually has an elastic waist; so the tie acts as a belt (if that makes sense?). The top is stitched closed @ the top, then drapes towards the side, stopping @ the waist; w/the belt tying on the side. Hope this helps?? 🤷🏼‍♀️
