This is an exquisite vintage 100% silk blouse circa 1996 to 1997! The decadent details cannot be matched in today's garments! There are BEAUTIFUL cufflinks made with the blouse. This quality cannot be found today without spending 100's of dollars! This FABULOUS blouse also features hidden buttons (as shown in the picture) and small shoulder pads. The tag is a size 16, but it's a 16 from over 20 years ago. It seems to be much more like a current day size 12! What a find!!!

@jackiejanep Hello! I just saw your question and this might help. This beautiful detailed garment even has little darts in the chest area. I will take a picture and send that. Also, I'm going to ask my husband a question because he's in the garment industry and he may know... let me find out.

@jackiejanep My husband said that's a perfect fit. I think with the darts, that that will even help more so it will not pull on the buttons. There is no give in the fabric, though. It is 100% silk and so nice, but there is no give.

@jackiejanep Jackie, good news, I just now had my daughter hold the fabric down and the tape measure. I was able to get a much more accurate measurement. The decadent silk is so slippery that the tape measure was moving around on me. It is 24" across the front which would make it 48. I believe it will work out perfectly for you!
