Boots have never been more popular—That’s both the good and bad news for both of us. We honor and respect healthy competition and will recommend certain other trusted boot sellers. So let us be clear: that’s not our “beef.”
With popular trends comes droves of folks who just wanna make a buck. Some newbies are just learning the ropes and we’re not suggesting all these folks are out to intentionally deceive. What concerns us most—for both trusted boot sellers and you buyers—is the many inexperienced and uneducated boot sellers out here today mislabeling and overall misrepresenting their boot listings. That “deal of a lifetime” that turns out to be nothing but your hard earned money blowin in the wind. Unhappy customers are never repeat customers and this hesitation & skepticism when buying is boomeranging back to the rest of us. Once bitten, twice shy. It’s impacting trusted boot sellers to the point many once thriving boot businesses have gone under. You may think that’s good for other businesses—such as ours—but we don’t look at it that way. We want all trusted boot seller’s to thrive and—so we’re all still around after this craze passes—so should you!
In regards to the photos included… they should very clearly speak for themselves. We urge you to do your research… look closely, ask questions—and hopefully get answers!—prior to bitting on that “great deal.” As the old adage says: you will get what you pay for.

@scubastargirl Hi there. You’re welcome. We do buy boots. Usually not on/through here—unless it’s a deal we can’t pass up. 😉 And don’t bring in too many in that size since they’re tough to sell.

Your boots are gorgeous!! I use boots, much more worn and broken down, old non salvageable boots, for leather crafting. Do you know where I can get such boots at a good price?

@susanproch Hi. I didn’t see your comment until now—as it doesn’t show under our “comments”, unless you tag us. The only thing I can suggest for that is possibly Goodwill or something of the sort. We don’t buy/sell boots in that condition so may be other options for ya that we’re not aware of.

@nmchristiane Hi. That’s just a stock image. They certainly resemble Frye campus boots but couldn’t say with certainty.

I have a pair of full quill ostrich Ropers by Justin that I plan on listing. I bought them when I moved to Fort Worth in 1995. I have no idea what to list them for or their approximate value. I think I paid $400 to $600 for them at that time. I wore them for the 2 years I lived in Texas and have been just packing them wherever I go ever since. Any suggestions? I’d appreciate your honest opinion!
