This Vintage KORET genuine calfskin handbag is marked inside and on the outside hinge pins with the iconic koretelope (Art Deco Antelope) The change purse, permanently attached by chain, is also marked KORET on it’s gold washed frame. It is dark brown with a darker brown on edges & handles. If you zoom in under handle attached there looks to be a spot with extra dark brown. Can’t tell if previous owner, whom I bought it from 20 years ago, outlined it in darker brown or if it was made that way. (she told me how her hubby ‘paid a fortune’ to buy it for her in 50’s) Has a lot of compartments for such a small bag - 2 full size slips on each side outside of main compartment, 1 slip on name side and a zip on other inside of main compartment. I zoomed in to show 3 pinhead sized waterspots and a small leather nick. 5.5” tall, 9“ wide, 2.5” thick w/2.5” handle drop.
