Three and a half inches wide, and shaped for wearing down from waist, this beautifully made belt is smooth and soft inside and smooth on the edges, so that it can be worn safely over the finest jerseys as well as over Western wear. Similarly, its style is suitable for the Western category but is not limited to that. Certainly it would be great over a Double DvRanch tunic or dress, a shacket or a western skirt. The plain but large shiny brass buckle and the flowers and foliage tooling/embossing are equally at home over cashmere or silk. As demonstrated on the XL half-mannequin, the shaping of the belt calls for a wider wearing shape at the bottom of the 3.5” than at the top (mannequin has narrow hips and no rear end). Seven holes an inch apart. Middle hole measures approximately 38” around the top edge, and 43” around the bottom edge. Keep in mind that it is likely to be worn over thick clothing and not at the narrowest part of the waist. Sized L, keep in mind that by my estimate it needs at least 35” under it at the tightest hole to avoid slipping down. Preowned very good condition, on close inspection, slight scuffs on the belt and buckle, a watermark line on the inside - nothing that detracts from its appearance.

zeldasunshine @nblackmore55 This is a very curved WIDE belt to wear LOW, and the top edge and bottom edge effective sizes have been provided in the description, differing by 5 inches, at middle-hole setting. You can see the tighter and looser holes and add or subtract accordingly. It is not designed for a "waist" measurement. The middle holes will look more balanced, design-wise. Do you want a "tighter" or "looser" photo?
