pk1113 @j_agoust212 serial numbers were attached starting in the 80s. Do you have any other proof of authenticity?

j_agoust212 @pk1113 As the description states, the bag was a sample sent to the Chanel offices before production. My partner was Asst. General Council for Chanel in the mid-90s. Samples were sent to the NYC prior to production and those samples were sold yearly at a Sample Sale held exclusively for the employees at the W 57th HQ. I hope this clears up any confusion.
