This jacket is an original first run tag of JWLA around 2004, it was the first sizing of clothing for them, so it has some age, but looks bought yesterday! Size L but fits like a Medium/Large. They started with oversized or OS pieces since around 1995, the evolving was a process, fitting troubles at this time, but the quality shows why they became so big, the stunning work! Anyway, it’s amazingly embroidered, and was the beginning of why Johnny Was became so popular! Excellent piece for the size M/L Its an iconic piece of history now that is very hard to come by in pristine condition!

LOVE JW!!!!

@closetofdaisies me too, closet is full of it! I have vintage pieces as well…. I adore them! It’s become an icon hadn’t it? It’s nice to meet a fellow JW lover! Thanks for stopping by! Don’t be a stranger, I will be doing shows soon, and I have way too much, even JW, LOL! Hope to see you soon!

thank you so much for being honest about the fit and explanation how they moved to large sizes. Twice I bought someone large but they were vintage and much smaller than the Large of today. I truly appreciate your clarification !

@zinzan5 you are more than welcome! I hate getting burned as well, and I have by so many pieces! It’s so frustrating isn’t it? I honestly want to break from this, but then someone like yourself says something like this and it reminds me, we need honesty in here, right? Thank you! Your little comment made my day! Thank you again!💜💜💜

@1rchickie happy I made your day, you deserve it! 💖

@1rchickie just wanted to piggyback ⬆️ I love JW, and always appreciate learning something new when I’m down in the Poshmark rabbit hole, when I should be listing things because while my eyes love Johnny Was but my wallet definitely says no…please do stay, it’s a shame how full Posh has gotten of ne’er do wells in the 9 years I’ve been here 😔

@raleighuga thank you! It’s such a passion of mine, sharing what I have learned and people whom appreciate it really makes my day, so thank you again! I have been procrastinating a bit however on listing, I’m so overwhelmed by the amount I need to get rid of, and frankly it’s the descriptions that keep myself from following through with it, LOL! I really want whomever purchases to be happy with what they buy.

It’s easier being a stylist and buying for a particular person, one I know, plus know what looks best on them, plus knowing their style helps a ton too. do plan on going to Posh Fest, I hope that it motivates myself to keep at it. have a need to be extremely honest to any buyer of anything I sell, not only do I want them completely happy with their purchase, but I like helping other woman by being completely transparent about anything I have got sale…..

I can’t tell you how many times I have opened an item to be horrified about how badly the listing is in comparison to the actual product. I think we all have had that issue right? It’s disheartening isn’t it? I want to change the way people are allowed to list without repercussions back at myself, mostly I just don’t bother and donate as a loss.

I wonder what others do, like yourself, how do you handle a disappointing purchase, due to listing incorrect? I would love to know ladies opinions like yourself, so thank you again for leaving a note, I truly appreciate it, more than I can explain! 💜

@1rchickie welllll I handle it differently depending on the item & price tbh…if I feel they were intentionally deceptive, I’ll file a claim for a refund because I’m not with folks trying to take advantage. But honestly I ask so many questions if anything isn’t clear, it’s probably obvious I’ll be the PITA buyer 😂😂

@1rchickie The times I open a pkg & am annoyed it’s always from (the bay) & as long as I can resell it without losing money, I just deal with it. But I’m talking less than $30, when I bid on a auction & probably shldnt have anyway without looking closer. It’s consistently been that she wasn’t clear about wear/flaws on a bag & uses the “normal wear & tear” deal but what’s normal? My bags NEVER have dirty handles or brown corners or filthy interiors bcuz I’m not GROSS like that.

@1rchickie (sorry! I’m wordy too right 😂) I’m like you about posting stuff, my descriptions are lengthy & descriptive bcuz they shld be IMO (& less questions for buyers). I’ve been on posh almost a decade now, I guess I learned my lesson long ago & usually felt it was my fault for not doing my due diligence & peppering the seller with ?s…you can see in my purchases I don’t make big ones on here, esp now with all the scammers…
raleighuga
@1rchickie *an auction (I hate typos, sorry, it obviously takes me forever to list) I suspect you might be a buyer who spends more than me, if I don’t want to go to the seller I just open a case for refund bcuz Posh forces that anyway. They’ll get the notification & see what’s up. And usually people know when they’re being deceptive & hoping it’ll slide. No ma’am not with your hard earned money…
