🌿 While we all love a good bargain please keep in mind Poshmark fees can be as high as 20% so a lot of sellers will not entertain ridiculously low offers. Please review the attached offer guidance sheets before sending offers 🌿

zorkaiva@leapax yes it’s 20% for sales $20+ or $3.95 flat rate for sales under that plus you pay 10% GST on the fees.

j_tia@zorkaiva the joys of lowballs and high fees 🙃 yes me and @leapax have been in pains about this 😅 so told her about your chart 😀 There’s stuff we just can’t afford to “give away” Iike her beaut quality skincare range 🤩

23_anjieGood on you for posting this! I do hope buyers will refer to this guidance.

Mar 02Reply

zorkaiva@23_anjie yes I saw something similar on someone else’s page when I was doing my daily shares. Was it yours? If not feel free to take it. 😊

Mar 02Reply

23_anjie@zorkaiva wasn’t mine, but is really helpful for sure! I don’t think buyers realise that sellers get charged significant fees. And this doesn’t even include the GST on discounted shipping which almost all buyers expect to receive. So this is definitely a very handy resource to have. Thanks for sharing 😊

Mar 02Reply

zorkaiva@23_anjie I’m hearing you. We all love a bargain but some offers don’t even cover costs they’re so low. 😊

523103e@zorkaiva Hi Zorka, Do you mind if I copy this and post in my closet as well? Thank you so much for going to all the effort to draft this. To echo earlier comments, it is so frustrating to continually try to explain to new buyers that a purchase of $5 means I am making money for Poshmark with all my time and elbow grease! I will attempt to share as many of your closet as possible right now as a thank you in advance. Posh Love Suzanne xx

Mar 11Reply

zorkaiva@poshyposhposher absolutely not. I think it should be in every closet as a reminder to buyers. I had a $59 offer on an item listed as $159 🥴 I get people want a bargain and I’m happy to offer discounts but this was laughable when it comes to lowball offers. Just a tip…try and keep it at the top of your closet so anyone can see it when they’re looking through to shop 😊 have a great weekend

Mar 11Reply

523103e@zorkaiva Have a great weekend too Zorka! And I wish you many healthy sales 🙏💖

Mar 11Reply

fionanoel_12Thank you @zorkaiva, this really is a great idea; do you mind if I also share? I don’t have a huge closet, I don’t op-shop to sell, only sell my own and family and one friend’s items, so when I get the sometimes, quite rude lowball offers, I don’t know whether to reject or straight up ignore. Buyers do need to be reminded

Apr 05Reply

zorkaiva@fionanoel_12 absolutely. I’m hearing you about the low ball ridiculous offers. I mostly sell my families it’s as well so I know the condition is worth asking price so it’s hard to deal with the low offers sometimes.

monicamoroneyThank you so much beautiful Zorka for sharing this information with buyers and sellers. You are always such a wonderfully wise, generous and thoughtful soul! 💛 Mon xx

May 15Reply

zorkaiva@monicamoroney I do try and keep it at the top for others to see, use and share but sometimes it gets “lost” amongst my listings 😊 feel free to take a copy for your own closet

May 15Reply

monicamoroneyI definitely will!!! Thank you! You’re amazing. Just absolutely amazing 🙌🙏👏❤️💛❤️ xx.

stefsclosetstufI wonder what happens if a buyer offers lower than what poshmark can take. if it goes below after 0 after fees and tax, does the sale to through?

Aug 22Reply

stefsclosetstuf@zorkaiva I actually accidentally accepted a 200 offer on a 380 item 😅😅😅😅 just cos I was so excited to make a sale! I only realised after all the deductions I only got over a 100 😨 but all good. Pay a tuition fee to learn lol

Aug 22Reply

zorkaiva@stefsclosetstuf oh no. I’m sure you could have retracted it within a certain amount of time.

Aug 22Reply

stefsclosetstuf@zorkaiva all good! lesson learnt! :)

Aug 22Reply

j_tiaGosh the amount of fees is amplified when they take a mega chunk off for exxy luxury items plus they make you pay gst 😖 just can’t afford to give away exxy items… thanks for creating this guide 👏 🫶

Aug 22Reply

zorkaiva@j_tia save the guide to your closet. Unfortunately, people will still send low ball offers 😊 sometimes we have to smile and not then move on. I got an offer of $100 on a $280 bundle. They would have already received 20% off 🤦🏽‍♀️

Aug 22Reply

leapax@zorkaiva , this is fantastic! It would be fantastic if this automatically came as a listing in everyone's closet when they sign up for Poshmark!! Although, I thought that Poshmark took a minimum of $3.95 for all sales of $19 and under! Have I been wrong about that all this time? 😳

Aug 23Reply

zorkaiva@leapax yes it’s 20% for sales $20+ or $3.95 flat rate for sales under that plus you pay 10% GST on the fees.
