zorkaiva @luluandfoxy thank you. A lot of the items come from my families own wardrobe and either don’t fit or just ready to part with items for fresh looks. I also get given items from my extended family and friends so I’m lucky there but have also sourced items from op shops but if you do the later I would suggest checking items prior to purchasing as some donated items can have rips and stains 😊

zorkaiva @luluandfoxy I’m pretty lucky that I get given some awesome items from friends and family so I would suggest starting there. Let people know you’re doing your part for the environment so if they’re cleaning out their wardrobes to let you know and anything you don’t want can be donated. I have found a great op shop that I donate to which sends 100% of funds raised to an orphanage overseas 😊 hope this helps

zorkaiva @luluandfoxy yes but just remember not everyone will be doing a clear out of their wardrobe at the same time and you’ll find that a lot of the items will probably be donated to charity. Just make sure you have crates with lids to store the items you keep 😊 we are coming into winter so now is the time everyone cleans out their summer items.

zorkaiva @baileybailey163 I find sharing your items helps a lot. You also need to ensure pictures are crisp and clear and that your descriptions or titles are detailed. Use key words because a lot of the time when people are looking for items they search based on key words and the system will default to recently shared items. If you also help others share their items they will return the favour and share yours. 😊

zorkaiva @baileybailey163 this helps keep your listings “active” and visible in searches. You can also share your items to posh parties when they pop up and that gives you exposure to new people that don’t already follow you. I would also suggest following more posh ambassadors as they’re quite “active” in Poshmark so if you share a few items from their closet they will return the favour. Hope this helps.

zorkaiva @lucaciuioan I’m pretty sure express post isn’t an option but can only assume if you opt out and use Aus Post it might be able to be done but you would need to pay the cost and Poshmark reimburse you later. I’ve never done it. There are rules around it too such as needing a Aus post acct which is free. If you go to the Q&A section there’s more info and links. I couldn’t find anything about express post though

zorkaiva @lucaciuioan if a seller uses Aus Post they have to pay upfront and it’s then reimbursed later. It’s done differently. I prefer not to do it that way myself

zorkaiva @cathybeale oh hello neighbour. Firstly I think the posh parties are a good way to get yourself out there however, I’m yet to host one myself as I’ve been too busy. With regards to donations I tend to drop my items off to the little church across from the softball fields at Ormiston. 100% of their money gets sent to an orphanage overseas and everyone there are volunteers.

zorkaiva @cathybeale I personally think just sharing your closet 2-3 times a day, liking and welcoming min 10 new poshers daily, sharing other closets (you don’t have to share it all but a min of 5 items) because they will share yours to their followers. Hope all of this helps. I was actually thinking this morning that we needed another catch up of the local poshers 😊

Just go into the listing they have commented on and click on their name, select the dots in the top right hand corner, select report using option for sales off Poshmark then block them. Sadly this happens. Benefits are there if you work up to Ambassador status. Remember keep sharing your items. I’ll do it as well now

I keep my items stored in 100L tubs but found that even after washing the tubs thoroughly they left my items with a smell so now I pop items into ziplock bags where possible.

lisazarewicz I have purchased tubs as well and put sander wood sachets in them and some lavender ones too , I hope this might help , the ziplock bags are a great idea , how long did it take u to reach ambassador status ? I am trying to invest about 1-2 hours a day to know how to navigate the total tools also how does insurance work on expensive items ? Has ever anything got lost from your shipments?

zorkaiva @lisazarewicz you just need to meet the requirements. If you go into the settings you can see what milestones you have to achieve. I did it in 6mths because you need to be a member for min 6mths and I was just waiting on that to achieve it. I’m now level II ambassador. Some items have gone missing but it’s covered so if this happens Poshmark will refund the buyer and pay you so I’m never worried

What should be the ratio to listing and having sales , I am still trying to work that out

zorkaiva @lisazarewicz go into “my posh stats” it’ll tell you what you still need to achieve for ambassador status. I try and list everyday but that doesn’t always happen. Try not to put added pressure on yourself. Just list as items are available 😊 there’s no set ratio or requirement

I just don’t know where the benefit is , do you sell to those people? As when I look at my feed it is always from the same people? , Lisa 🥰👛👠👗🛍️

zorkaiva @lisazarewicz unfortunately until you reach ambassador status you’ll get the majority of followers from the US which is annoying because we cannot buy each others items. If you keep working to ambassador status these will drop off and you’ll start getting automatic followers from AUS. Hope that helps clarify things.
