Hi @carolinerandel -- No odors. The seal is watertight and these are in great shape, we just needed to upgrade to the larger size.

@lilbundlesofjoy Hi. The lid on the extra tray is meant for fridge storage (so you can make two lunches at once) and isn't leakproof.
