bensonrogs @stelsparkle Thank you. you have been very accommodating. The bottom leg opening dimension is quite wide. I just measured a pair of my older style trousers and they too have a 9" bottom leg size. I have never measured trousers to this extent. If these were between 7"- 8 1/4" then I would purchase. are you sure about the 9" width?
