Vintage MCM Large Longevity Peach Ceramic Sculpture w Monkey Seated on Top

Vintage midcentury Chinese, ceramic sculpture of a longevity peach with a monkey seated on top. Very high-quality and realistic sculpture/objet d’art. The monkey is very natural and expressive with a lot of fur detail. He is inquisitive with a direct gaze. The glazes on the peach are beautiful and lustrous with an ombre effect, ranging from moss green to, a peachy blush. The branches and leaves are very realistic and have a more matte styling, which frames the luster of the peach. Very eye-catching piece that would anchor a mantle, bookshelf, entry table, etc. This piece is dramatic and large and fragile, with intricate pieces.
