@lingerielust I assume so since the tag that says needs authentication, I just questioned it because there are so many things that are very similar to my very real red one… Thank you so much I’m going to again relist the bag as not for sale yet with authentication needed

@lingerielust Net Porter, or just the regular stores on Fifth Avenue. When I purchase on Poshmark...aka a purchase for ME like Proenza tissue tees (my favorite)...i know they are real etc. This made me realize that learning about what is real and what is fake is a super fun task because you learn the history of the design and wow so interesting....

I landed on Fashionphile...and...because this one bag was my grandmother's bag...not mine or my mother's...it is a very old bag. So out of curiosity, I wanted to learn about the LV and what is real or fake with the logo bags because I only do epi for myself. They had 2 versions of this pouch and discontinued it because people would put chains and wear them as crossbody bags. LV discontinued it an made a crossbody bag for triple the price.

@lingerielust so...I just got back from LV and it is real...just in terrible shape so the lining was ripped and replaced. Real but very very damaged. Interesting! Still don't want to sell it yet.

@lingerielust that is exactly what was so fun about this! the history of the designs and the names everything is so interesting. I am so fortunate to be an 11-minute walk to the MET so I can go see the fashion exhibitions over and over. The Lagerfeld exhibit changed my perspective completely. And now I am very curious to peruse your lingerie collection because I am a fan of real lingerie...especially 50s and 60s stuff. Very cool.
