💯 Authentic Louis Vuitton Popincourt Haut.
All vachetta trim has been custom painted black and sealed by luxury canvas and leather artist, Kristen Kelly of KK Leather Goods.

The bag had the lightest rubs on the the bottom edges (no tears on vachetta) and no stains or wear on the vachetta straps.
It was the perfect canvas for this very detailed custom paint job.
Absolutely no repairs required.

@hanansar1 Hello. No odor. After the artist painted the vachetta black she applied a sealant to protect the paint. So no, the black will not come off in the rain. Thank you for checking and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions.

Hello and thank you for your message. Just as a back story; I had the vachetta painted because I didn't want to deal with the stress of raw vachetta (water marks, uneven patina, etc) and the paint takes care of that.
So to answer you question: Yes. It diminishes the value as the original design (what LV intended and what most customer's are looking for) has been altered. Not a concern if you love it and intend to keep it.
