Missing stone is reflected in price. Have the stone replaced and shine this beauty up✨
If stone was replaced I’d be selling for a firm $1350.
Also, do a little research and you’ll see pieces like this only increase in value as they age. See 5th pic of a similar piece at one on my favorite online shops for over $6k. The love + work that goes into each exquisite piece is incredible.
Outstanding Vintage Pawn turquoise cluster bracelet from Navajo / Dine master silversmith, Danny L. Wauneka dating to the second-half of the 20th Century. The bracelet is signed DLW STERLING and shows a classic Vintage Pawn turquoise cluster or petit point bracelet in a large size with repousse sterling raised border as well as silver spots and twisted rope silver borders. The top has the radiating cluster oblong oval design with "U" cluster matching sections flanking either side on top of the triple split band cuff. The bracelet is well kept showing wonderful North American Turquoise.

Are the stones treated?
Apr 15Reply

nicolewallen
@fstops Danny L Wauneka is a certified Dine Master Artisan and it’s unlikely he alters the stones he uses. However, I can’t say for certain as there is no readily available information online indicating either way. I noticed you have a turquoise ring for sale and wondered how you would know if stones were treated or not? If you know of a way to determine please let me know. I’d really appreciate it!

@nicolewallen All I know from what I've been told is an acetone test, where you dip a q tip in acetone and then rub a stone if blue or green rubs off it likely not turquoise. I too have purchased from a reputable seller of Danny's work and she assured me it was turquoise, that it may be treated or stabilized but it is turquoise and the process is used to assure the stones aren't easily damaged or effected my temperature, oils, etc.
