Vintage retired Arthur Court letter opener and letter holder thoroughbred horse set, EUC. The letter opener is about 8 1/2” long and the letter holder is about 1 7/8” tall. The box does show some signs of aging with scuffs and a couple indentations here and there, and the end has the remnants of what looks like a price sticker. The letter holder does stick up just a bit above the level of the box. As well, the stainless steel of the letter opener and also *both* the horses’ necks on the letter holder each have one tiny slightly darker spot on them—see second to last photo. I think each of these was from the manufacturing process, as otherwise they are in lovely condition. Also, there is a bit of tear-away in the retainer in the box for the letter opener. Please look at the photos as they are a part of the description. The American quarter and the envelope are for scale and display only; not included. I have a non-smoking and pet-friendly home.
