Gorgeous and Vibrant, handmade 100% Silk Scarf by Chelsea Pearson- owner and Creator of Silkworm Studios. This talented artists' scarves and were sold at my dear friend's family owned boutique and I really admire her work. She sold for many years at the Renaissance Faire. This style of scarf is extremely unique. The technique is called Nuno Felted Silk. The bands down the sides of the piece look like felt but it's a gathered and treated silk. The rouched style has beautiful movement and shape. This was worn only on very special occasions and kept safely in a box since about 2010. It is in excellent, barely worn condition. The colors have always reminded me of a mermaid Lagoon, and the swirling ocean. I photographed the scarf on a shirt just to show style of the accessory- shirt not included. Approx.
