birdmoore is the woven strap background brown or black?

dpalwi @birdmoore good question! I did not purchase the strap, it came with another bag I bought. To my eye and when I put it near the bag I think the background looks deep brown. however the reverse side of the strap is black. I also asked my 9 yo and he at first said black and then when I put it on the purse said brown lol. That's the best answer I have! I added another pic with the strap and the bottom of the purse.
