mkil @lizronnie hi! Yes, I do think the metal can be tightened and that would fix it! A specialty repair shop could probably fix it easily. I had a purse repaired similarly once and it only cost me 20.00 to fix - but this is an easier fix than I got. I just posted some more measurement pics. It’s 10 in x 9 in.
