Hey there, I had a similar experience with updated penny—whatever it’s called. I bought an 8 because they appeared really big on my narrow foot. However, upon wearing I realized, though they felt big bc of shape and fit, they were true to size. I ended up needing my actually size, an 8.5. Posting in case it helps. If they are more like the Daisy then you def need to size down. Thoughts in case they help. Good luck!
