This chic pet carrier was made under license by the French Company and was definitely ahead of its time. Crafted of traditional thick monogram canvas, extensive treated pigskin leather and complimented by polished brass hardware. The leather they used years ago is much better quality, also the canvas is thicker and resistant to cracking... definitely stands the test of time! The top zipper gaps at one end for the pet's comfort. Zipper works great :) Handles and chaps are in excellent condition. The compact interior is lined with a washable textile for convenience, interior is very clean, but has had a repair done (see pen in pic) This is an excellent and functional tote for your beloved pet, as well as a piece of fashion history, by Louis Vuitton! No vintage foul smell :) The bag has a rounded rectangular shape, a zip-top closure, and double handles with a strap drop of 8.5 inches. There is a leather monogram patch that's ready for your dog's name or initials. This limited edition bag features Louis Vuitton monogram accents and a matte finish. It is waterproof and has bottom studs for added protection. This is a great rare vintage item to add to your collection or pamper your pooch with! Please note this is a vintage item and will have scratches and tarnish on hardware, and scratches & light wrinkling on leather but is in excellent condition for its age.
