In the last photo is the chain tied in a knot? In all the other photos it appears as though the chain slips through the pendant however in the last photo it doesn’t. Why is that?

I should clarify. Look closely in the last photo, I only flipped the pendant over to demonstrate that this item is sterling .925 stamped. Once turned back around, it flows through.
