Rare Vintage Persian Weave Textured Gold Tone Link Necklace

Stunning vintage necklace in a gold tone (may be gold plated- is magnetic). Thin, diamond/ cross hatch design textured chains, double/quadrupled alternated in a Belcher style, or Persian Weave, make up this long, 40" necklace. It is a lot of chain, a lot of weight, for this style and length. I have not found anything like it online. Most likely dating to the 1960s, by Monet, in a Victorian style. It could be Victorian (pre-1900). I do not know what metal it is made of, and have not tested it. But the gold coloring is in excellent condition and does not appear to have any discoloration or wear, which is why I think it might be gold plated. It is not marked. It is a bit chunky due to the number of interwoven chains- can be worn singly or doubled up for super bling. It's really hard to part with this one!
