The laces have 2-3 slight smudges that are difficult to detect but one quick wash will absolutely make them look good as new. No fraying or pulling or pilling. The laces are perfect other than the slight smudges that will come out with one quick wash(laces only). The suede should not be washed in the washing machine. Suede requires an easy suede brush and cleaner. Please examine photos closely and ask any questions before purchasing.
