I got interested in Poshmark because I love the idea of recycling clothing to help the environment and I’ve been trying to find ways to creatively add my artistic talents to the used textile world. Lately, I’ve been adding subtle aspects of nature to used denim. Denim being the same as canvas, it lends itself perfectly to being painted on. Images of nature on used clothing are meant to remind us that by upcycling clothes and participating in the resale market we are helping the environment we exist in. The birds are painted in high quality gallery acrylic that is heat sealed onto the denim. You can wash and dry this but it will fade with washings. So only wash as needed. This jacket is very soft.
