Boy's Smokey Mountain Cowboy Boots. Size 6. Okay, technically, these are Ropers. My son wore these for about 1 year. Probably more miles on these boots than any other pair of shoes or boots he's ever owned. They're broken in, have great patina, and should have lots of life left in them. According to him, they're the most comfortable boots ever. I gave the leather a good cleaning, and conditioned it with some Venetian shoe cream. Buffed 'em with a horsehair brush, which gave them a little bit of a sheen. They have a celastic reinforced toe to hold the shape and give a little bit of toe protection. Leather is soft and supple. A couple months after my son started wearing these one of the heels looked like it wanted to come unglued, so I pulled both heels back a tiny bit, used Loctite shoe glue underneath them with a toothpick, and then put another bead of glue on the outside of the crease (visible in pics of soles). They've been rock solid ever since. Personally, I'd add a pair of thin new insoles if I were buying these for my youngster. But the heavy lifting of breaking these in has already been done. And they are great looking boots with jeans! Hopefully some young boy or girl can get some more use out of 'em. Thanks for looking, and as Tim McGraw says, o.b.o. 🤠.
