Hermès Brides De Gala Silk Scarf
Excellent Used Condition
This size scarf new at Hermes is retail $940+.
Among the most popular and arguably by many as “the most popular” renowned Hermès motif is the "Brides de Gala" print designed by Hugo Grygkar in collaboration with Robert Dumas in 1957. This has been a classic scarf for Hermes for decades and is no doubt an iconic item for new and old Hermes fans alike.
1957, Robert Dumas worked with Hugo Grygkar. He placed two bridles face to face on the floor, and immediately it became clear that the composition was perfect, a scarf with unparalleled simplicity came to life. This was followed by the talent of a precise and subtle hand, which is so dear to the House.
Its name is reminiscent of the jingling of buckles, punctuated by the majestic sound of horses' hooves. The bridle aesthetics and balanced composition are still relevant today.
This exact scarf is in like new condition with no visible flaws found.
