Antique 14K white gold Ostby & Barton amethyst ring. Size 4. In very good condition. Note the detailed filigree work in the setting. Please see the jeweler’s mark in the photo. The Maltese cross hallmark at the end denotes that Engelhart Ostby worked on this piece himself before his death aboard the Titanic in 1912. cbias1957 It’s my birthstone. I had a beautiful one a few years ago and my house got robbed. I also had my grandmother’s ring taken. It was engraved with their initials and their wedding date. 1914. 😢
