Superb 1930s Antique Sterling Silver Garnet Marcasite Brooch Pin. This Brooch is Truly Exquisite and in excellent Antique condition. Measures 1.75" long and 1/5" at widest point. Worthy of passing along this Heirloom Quality Treasure. It's not light weight either, weighing 6.32 grams. It would go well in a formal setting to goth wear. I left the old Patina as many Collectors prefer it and should the new owner desire, it can be polished with Silver Polish. Very Versatile.
Item E84.

Hi, you have a beautiful closet. Excuse my questions because I'm not very familiar with antique jewelry. Was this truly made in the 1930s?

@aprilm2303 Hi April, it certainly was! I have a best friend who's a medical doctor and basically, she knows how much I've studied jewelry over the past 30+years and she believes that I should have my doctorate in jewelry 😁😂. She's not wrong. I've studied more hours than that though, because it's been my Passion for all of my life. Please read my love notes. You'll see a pattern there of words about my jewelry knowledge. 💕

@shereebruner Good Morning, in the 1930s most jewelry craftsmen switched to the turn style clasp, which this one is. Thanks for asking ☺️
