Is this vintage 70s/80s? Is the leather braid compromised in the 5th pic? Two strings look loose?

@cherissaradams my friend was given this bag in the late 90s or 2000s. As for the braid in that photo I can't say for sure, but that's the end edge and you could just tuck them in. The flaw I noted are 4 fringe on the backside outer side that must have been cut/ripped.at some point.

@cherissaradams the drop length is 25 inches at the shortest and 28 when adjusted to the longest. There's only the two lengths. hope that helps!
