This establishes that the piece is gallery quality. This piece was made from an 1870 Saratoga Demitasse Spoon. Spoon rings originated back in the 1700s in England. Like all wedding rings, a spoon ring denotes love, commitment, and responsibility. Symbolizing feminine intuition and inner knowledge, it's also associated with spirituality. Size is approximate, and based Dooley in where it sits on my size mandrel. Because these pieces can flex, they can usually fit multiple sizes.
