The designer for Carven, Guillaume Henry, wanted practical, yet feminine shoes. His choice went to Robert Clergerie, for a comfortable elegance. Robert Clergerie, earned a reputation as a true architect of shoemaking through his technical skill, sense of modernity and ability to reinterpret the classics - his shoes are synonymous with luxury and known for their walkability. Carven began in Paris as well as a luxury fashion brand, and one of the first couturiers to develop prêt-à-porter. The series of shoes that was born from this collaboration includes luxury streetwear styles raised on wedge heels in order to combine comfort with femininity.
