It’s all about the details! Truly gorgeous and one of a kind, vintage 1960s floor length beaded gown in a lustrous marigold dupoin raw silk. Intricate beadwork up the front in an array of white, silver and gold beads, silver sequins and faux pearls, with a silk bow in front. The short puff sleeves have some serious structure with crinoline and box pleats. Zips up the back with a metal zipper, lined with cambric and there’s white lace along the inside hem. Floor length with a bit of an empire waist gives slight Edwardian vibes. Excellent vintage condition, minimal wear with minor flaws There are three tiny/ faint lines on the right shoulder that aren’t consequential and only a note on close inspection. There is also a popped stitch or two near the left armpit, which is currently repaired with a safety pin. No size tag. She’s pictured too big on a U.S.-women’s size 7 model.
