Hi Avelon! Can you tell me more about the gold dipped process? Is it like Gold Vermeil or Gold Filled? Thank you so much!

@lymerose Hi there! I make most of the pieces in my closet in my jewelers studio at my home. I have been making jewelery for more than 20 years now. As the description stated this is solid 925 sterling silver dipped in 24k gold. It is not plated. I roll the ring in molten gold. This technique keeps the gold adhered to the sterling. Thank you so much for your interest! Happy Poshing!

@lymerose I wish i could upload a video of my process, but posh keeps them to a few seconds. I'm SO thrilled that this Lil cutie has found a great home! It was a difficult "birth" for this Lil flower as her petals were a biotcz to get symmetrical! lol. She's a special Lil gem that I hope brings you as much joy as she did me, making her! is this your birthstone? xo

@avelonsattic I can imagine how hard it would be to get the petals symmetrical. Do you ever wax cast in your jewelry making process? I find the ancient way of making jewelry so cool! When I saw this piece I wondered if it was wax casted. I love understanding the process! Thank you for being so kind and thoughtful.

@lymerose hey luv,a lot of my older, more detailed pieces are made with wax casting. They have more smaller details with microgem settings. I learned that method years ago. I freehand most of my pieces now. my eyes are kind of going, so I can't do the micro detailing anymore. This is why my earlier pieces are so different from my current work. And my new pieces have large detailing. lol
