@moxielane not the seller, but it’s totally machine washable~all silk is! Depending on delicacy, it may be better to use a lingerie bag & use delicate setting or spin as low as possible, in cool or warm water. No hot. Preferably natural/gentle detergent.

@lizbelladel you can then lay flat on a towel, place another on top, & slowly roll to gently squeeze excess water & then air dry, but I have loads of silk~most very vintage & went to machine washing a while ago, after lots of hand washing, no dry cleaning~& I prefer the dryer on no heat or lowest heat & remove just before fully dry. Keeps it softer, though may shorten life in the long run…

@lizbelladel but I’ve bought very expensive silk tops in thrift stores for $2 that were crispy & seemingly ruined, but brought back w hand washing w vinegar rinse & gentle drying, repeat if really bad, & they’re like new again. Every few machine washes, I vinegar rinse to restore sheen (google it!) but I don’t even wash separate from other items anymore & it’s all fine
