6.25ct Sapphire Ring

A striking vintage solitaire ring set with an incredible 6.25 carat lab grown colour-change sapphire. The stone displays an intense deep bluish-purple colour when viewed in daylight, but switch up the lighting to an electric incandescent bulb and the colour changes to bright pink. It's set in a 14k gold ring mount with elegant open gallery and Egyptian hallmarks. Hand made, circa 1960.
