lynn1961fae @madelinekimmel from my research, it compares to a size large in women’s or a 10-12. Junior sizes are usually a bit smaller and more slim than women’s though. Also this dress was made in the 1970’s so I feel clothing from that time was just more slim in general. I do have measurements in the pictures and this should help somewhat.

lynn1961fae @beverleywatkins Hi Beverly, This is an absolutely beautiful dress. It belonged to my mother and she wore it once on the 70’s for a special occasion. She now has dementia and lives in a memory care facility. I am selling some of her things to help out. From my research, there are very few (under 7) of these dresses available online. The few that have been sold have gone for more than my listed price. At this time I won’t sell this dress for a low price. Thanks for your interest!

chipolinamolina @stephaniereach it’s called a collector’s item 😂 Gunne Sax dresses are super expensive now because they are rare to find today and have a cult following. I guess you can blame capitalism for that? But yes, they are way more expensive because they are coveted by people who pay for it.

The price reflects market research of sold comps on this same item, all of which sold for more than my listed price. It’s crazy that I even found people making copies of this dress and selling them for $300! Your nice attitude made my day😁

If I wasn't a collector of things that are just as expensive, I would have snatched this one up a while ago. But I guess according to some rude people that doesn't make me "normal" but meh, least I don't make a fool out of myself on the internet.

krystinaa23 @lynn1961fae I usually think that most gunne sax dresses on here are overpriced and look like a cheap imitation or are in bad condition. This is the first one I've seen that actually looks unique/great condition/ and wearable! I think the price is perfect for this type of rare item! Don't let others get you down just because they want to be bullies on an item that is clearly legit! Someone will cherish this piece for a long time!

ashley_white1 @stephaniereach Gunne Sax dresses are valuable and limited in quality, and this is clearly a beautiful sentimental item that the seller is not rushing to sell cheap to someone just to move it. She’s looking for someone who will treasure it the way her mom did in the 70s. If you’d never pay her price, whatever. It’s not for you. You shouldn’t shame people for their pricing, just because you don’t like the price.
