This is a stunning 100% silk brocade Asian top. Really not sure if it's actually a sleeveless blouse or a vest. It was made in Vietnam and has no other tags. I did a little online research and while I couldn't find this actual piece I did find a traditional cheongasm made with the exact fabric and it was vintage from the 1970s. It has a Mandarin collar and frog fasteners with hidden snaps to keep it secured. It has black piping along the hemline, arm holes, collar, and an asymmetrical line down the right side. It is a vibrant magenta silk with traditional Chinese flowers embroidery. The embroidery is done in orange, pink, red, and black. The label states it is a XXL but it fits like a medium to large. The measurements are: 17" shoulder to shoulder 18.5" armpit to armpit 16" waist 18.5" along the hemline 6" neckline 23.5" shoulder to hemline These measurements were taken while the garmet was flat and the measurements are to the best of my ability. Please see photos. The garmet is in excellent preloved condition with no visible stains, holes, rips,or tears.
