CHANEL Vintage Quilted Lambskin Medallion Tote Red

AUTHENTICATED by AuthenticateFirst; Posh will confirm authenticity for free. Very good/excellent condition, especially for a vintage Chanel quilted lambskin medallion bag! Seven digit “2” serial number, produced 1991-1994. Rare find! Exterior red color appears uniform throughout with no detectable fading. Any significant discoloration is most likely photo glare/shadow. No holes or significant scratches to exterior. The piping is exposed on all for corners but it is not obvious. The transition between the exposed piping and the covered piping is almost seamless, as though it was intentionally made that way. Note: The original color of the piping used in manufacturing was red- it has not been painted red! The handles show some wear, which is not surprising since lambskin is so soft. Handles are firmly attached to the bag, but have become “floppy” over time. Interior is clean with no significant marks or stains. There is a small tear near the end of the zipper of interior pocket. Zippers work fine. No other detected flaws. Measurements/serial number in photos. There is a 2nd set of numbers in the interior pocket. No idea what it indicates but included a photo of it.
