I upcycled this Spell Fleetwood mini, turning into a midi/maxi dress using a lace free people top. It has been dyed. The dress is a deep purplish brown, the lace top I added to the bottom is a rusty salmon color. This is a size 8, and it fits like an xs. Underarm measures 16”, and stretches an inch. Length is 45” in the front and 49” in the back.

rivercitycheryl Hi! Questions, please: Would you say this would best fit a 2-4? Secondly, does it fit closely across the backside or does it have some wiggle room in the bum and hips? Thank you!!

missamandalin @rivercitycheryl I would say it’s an xs. Definitely fits like a size 2, a size 4 would be pushing it. It does have some wiggle room in the back and hips, but not a ton. If you’re a 2 or an xs it would have wiggle room. Anything bigger it might be a bit too snug on

rivercitycheryl @missamandalin Many thanks for your speedy response and attempts to help with fit. I found listings for Fleetwood dresses to also help determine fit. Perhaps a nude slip may be necessary(?) which might help create a smooth look. I’m thinking hard about this!! It’s certainly a lovely creation! Thank you, thank you!!
