60s 70s vintage hostess dress maxi gown by Marjone Seattle. Bubblegum pink long sleeve knit top is joined to a butter yellow quilted satin maxi skirt. Classic mid-century gown style that looks like a two-piece. Zips in back. Chinoiserie floral print of chrysanthemum and peony. Good condition structurally, with cosmetic signs of age. Pit to pit 16.25" Waist 13" flat across Hip 18.5" flat across Shoulder to shoulder 14" Center back length 54" This maxi dress has a little boat neck and 7/8 sleeves. Modest full coverage look that is insanely flattering! I'm living for the elbow darts, such good fit. Pockets at hip. See photos for these flaws: The pink bodice is faded across the shoulders with color-bleached spots all over - a large grouping at the neckline and scattered small ones on sleeves and near waist. A statement necklace can provide excellent cover. Ink spot on the left sleeve. The quilted satin skirt has multiple spots of fabric wear, snags and threadbare areas, in the lap, seat + back of legs. Dusky transfer on pink satin at the waist maybe from a belt. Light area in yellow at side seam towards bottom. The satin sheen tends to gloss over these flaws.
